Neal serves as the Managing Director of Strategic Capital Advisors, a Reston, Virginia-based firm that specializes in delivering integrated tax and financial advice. His strategies are designed to assist clients in optimizing their tax savings and enhancing their wealth accumulation.
Commencing his financial services career in 1990, Neal initially worked as an assistant to a broker at Prudential-Bache Securities. He then progressed to become a Registered Representative for John Hancock Financial Services in 1993. His career trajectory led him to the MONY Group, an AXA Financial company, where he served as a Regional Director from 1999. Within a year, he was promoted to Managing Director for the Washington DC/Baltimore office, where he honed his leadership skills by recruiting and developing a team of financial advisors.
In 2001, Neal established Financial Strategies Group in partnership with MillerMusmar, CPAs. This venture enabled him to offer comprehensive financial strategies and asset management services to his clients. A decade later, he founded Strategic Capital Advisors.
Neal’s experience extends into academia, having taught investment courses for the CFP program at the Center for Corporate Education at Virginia Commonwealth University from 2005 to 2007. He holds a BS in Finance from George Mason University and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. He successfully passed the level 1 CFA exam in 2000 and has various securities and investment advisory qualifications, including Series 6, 7, 63, 65, and 24.
